In answer to your first question. Yes. Every day. It's totally normal. It should take about an hour.
The second question was a good one. I spent me a while thinkin' on it. And I would say don't go. Be up front about your intentions and limitations. Most people couldn't even wear that in private. I think it's just asking too much.
Lastly, I do think it's a good idea but stuff like that always backfires on me.
